It wasn't until I moved to Arizona in 1998 that I really started my photography journey.
I could sit by the Salt River for hours waiting for a band of wild horses to travel by or hike into the Sonoran desert to photograph migrating hummingbirds. The grandeur of the landscape from Sedona to the Grand Canyon held me captive. The desert southwest has a beauty all its own.
Then in 2019 I joined a group of night photographers at Meteor Crater and captured my first images of the milky way. I was enthralled. Night photography became a passion.
With my Nissan Rogue (named Bukaroo) I realized a passion for car camping and we have traveled many miles capturing the beauty of mother nature both by day and night after which I could tuck into my cozy nest and fall asleep to the sounds of coyotes howling or get completely freaked out by a herd of night wondering cows.
Now back in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Bukaroo and I are rediscovering places that I knew as a child and setting my soul on fire by sharing my passion for photography with you.
